This project was developed during 2 weeks on the Unity 4.1 engine. We were a team of ten people working on this prototype.
Concept: It is an adventure game for 8 to 12 years-old players. Its graphic style makes use of 2D assets in a 3D world. It is an adventure game for 8 to 12 years-old players. Its graphic style makes use of 2D assets in a 3D world. The game's world is made of the different universes of Dupuis' Belgian-comics. It develops itself according to the weekly basis publication of the Spirou Z Magazine.
The development: I was in charge of creating the concept and the Game Design together with the game design team. After that, I worked on the Quest Design and did the Flow Charts Documents. It was a great experience which allowed me to discover Unity 3D and make my first foray into working in partnership with programmers. They developed their own kismet structure in order to let the game designers integrate the quests into the code. Therefore, I also participated in the integration of the assets in the final product.
