Personal projects - What I do
2014 - Worship
Worship is a Tower Defense/Puzzle game developed for mobile, tablet and PC. It is aimed for casual and core players.
Gameplay
The player develops his own gaming field with lands based on Tetris-like shapes. On these lands, the player can build towers in order to defend his totem from the enemies assaults. Each land gives a particular bonus to towers.
The game also includes dynamic features like: powers with cooldowns, a macro upgrade system and the player's actions affect the next level to play.
Development context
This project started during the summer 2013. Back then, the members of the team worked by teleworking halfway world. We are still currently developing this projects during our spare time.
My missions
- Game Design
As the main designer on the project, I oversee the design leads, the flows, the layouts and the controls. I also take care of a great part of the design documents, from the game concept to the behaviors. Aside from this, I write accessible overviews so each member of the team can get information easily.
- Narrative Design
I'm also in charge of the game storytelling which includes the narrative system, the universe and the scenario. This leads me to fully discover the Native American culture. I'm currently doing a lot of researches on the subject to do the best possible storytelling that should suits the game!
