Internship - 2013 - CW - Intelligent System RC

During the summer 2013, I had the opportunity to go in the Intelligent System Research Centre, Derry, Northern Ireland, for two months inside the Serious Game and Virtual World Laboratory where I could work on the game project Circuit Warz for the Android and iOs devices.

Concept

Circuit Warz is a game aiming to help students to learn electronic circuits. The game is inspirated by the third person shooter and survival-horror series Dead Space and the first person shooter Dead Trigger (Android/iOS).

CW uses the first person view and takes place inside a spatial base on the Moon. The player has to solve different puzzle as electronic circuits to fix a laser and prevent that an alien ship to destroy the Earth. Therefore he can change the component's value and connect them in order to make a functional circuit. The player has to face enemies to access the base circuits.

It is now available on the Play Store and on STEAM.

Prize

Circuit Warz took first prize at the 4th International Educational Games Competition, 10th European Conference on Games Based Learning (ECGBL 2016)

My missions

• Learned Unity3D by myself
• Implemented Game Analytics service
• Increased the general consistency of the game
